Industrial Training is an integral part of the curriculam. It enables the student to enhance and extend the knowledge and technical skills acquired at the MSHM and also provide them the technical exposure to the day to day functioning of various star category establishments helping them to learn the "tricks of the trade". In order to successfully cater to this essential aspect of the course the M.S.H.M. operates a well organised and smoothly coordinated training cell controlled by the Training Coordinator. The M.S.H.M. maintains a strong co-ordination & intimate liason with most of the star category hotels of India. Judging the students according to their academic performance, personality and overall zeal they are selected for the various category hotels.

MSHM not only provides the stipulated 6 months industrial training mandatory for the management students but in addition conducts another 6 months + an unique 3 months training during the 3 year course. This additional 6+3 months training helps the students to sharpen their acquired skill and enrich their experience at on hand job. Moreover, the 3 months training conducted during the 3rd and final year helps the student to get a very good exposure aiding better placement in the industry.
